A little about us

The band has practiced on Monday nights for more than five years now.  What a way to start off the week!  Most people dread Monday, but all of us feel like the weekend just got extended and the party is still on.

Emma Kauffman Davis can also be heard around town - because she always has something to say, and she's gonna say it! She has been known to do some benefit concerts and also does some awesome backup work for one of NC's most comically controversial bands, Nucular.    Meow!

Olly Roberts can also be found thumping away at the fat strings for Nucular, Isle of Lucy and his praise band The Bridge.  Other than that, he usually can't be found. Olly likes to disappear into the countryside on his motorcycle whenever he gets a chance.

Ken Weigand. This man does it all, and does it good. A tenor that will melt butter, smooth rhythm guitar and sultry bass playing, and you can enjoy his eclectic musings in the weekly "Bamboo Newsletter." What? Not on the mailing list? Mike Edwards can also be heard from time to time with some of North Carolina's best musicians . His pickup performances and years with Mike Edwards and the Banned, has earned him the title of one of NC's favorite guitar player/singers. He can also be seen with a KILLER cover band called Isle of Lucy featuring Michelle Boyette, Bill Kelly, Kelly Biggers and Olly Roberts.

Dan Davis can be heard all over the Triangle Area.  In addition to playing killer rock 'n' roll, he can also swing.  He can also be heard playing some pretty funky jungle rhythms for the Nucular band. He keeps himself busy doing studio session work as well as giving instruction in his well-honed trade. Unfortunately, he is guilty of over-indulging in porkus-non-gratis...(better known as "BACON")
